YourQS Standard Reports
Our 3D estimating system uses database technology to hold the information about the project. The power of a database is we can write reports to present information in different ways for different purposes. It is the same information, just shown in a way that best suits particular end uses.
Estimate Report Set
We provide this set of three reports as standard with each of our project estimate.
Client Report
Is intended as a sales tool for builders or to provide to banks.
It provides a visual overview of the scope of work and a high-level breakdown of the costs. It includes the builder’s margin and GST.
Detail Report
Provides a complete breakdown of the project scope and costs so that the builder can review them.
It follows the same Work Area then Scope breakdown as the Client Report but provides the quantities and costs allowed for materials, labour, subcontractors and so on.
Excel by Trade
The same information as the Detail Report, but in an Excel format.
This allows you to slice and dice the information to better understand it

We have a range of reports available to help you understand or run the project. If you have access to our web portal, you can run these yourself, otherwise request them from us.
Building Materials Report
An Excel listing of the building materials in the project. The listing includes Cost Centre and Phase so you can see where in the project we have allowed the material and when it is required,
Labour Breakdown
We use activity-based costing to determine our carpentry labour times. This report shows each task and the time allowed.
Cost Plan
Costs summarised in the build sequence.
This uses our Phase to represent the construction program.
This information could be used for payment schedules or cashflow planning.
Project Tasks
A format suitable for importing project planning tools like MS Project.
It breaks down the carpentry tasks by Cost Centre and has rows for each trade.
Cashflow Projection
This spreadsheet allows you to develop a detailed project time plan linked to the costs.
So it gives a project plan, cashflow projection, and payment plan.
Project Plan
This is an Excel format report that is structured so that you can paste it directly into MS Project to create a GANTT chart. Other planning systems may also accept this format.
You can also create a GANTT style plan in Excel.
Job Cost Management File Exports
Import our estimate into your job cost management system. We have created reports in the formats required by various job cost systems. If your system isn’t here, let us know and we can look at adding it. These are Excel format files. You might need to Save As csv for your system.
